The Writer

I am the writer The solemn creator
Of tales of the world around
They may not be true
But If I may ask of you To explore the skies and the ground
And the wind and the leaves   That grow on trees
With apples so perfectly round
And when night comes on by With all the stars in the sky That are fairer then the jewels on a crown

I won a Golden Key from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2009 with this poem. It's also my most favorited deviation. I'm not to happy with how the fourth stanza reads, but a lot of people have told me this one is really good. So, what do YOU think about it?
